Rebuild Chocolate Almond Protein Bites

Keep your active lifestyle fueled with these energy bites. They make a great protein snack!

Serving Size

Makes about 10 servings (3 bites per serving)

What you'll need

1 TBSP flax seeds
1 TBSP chia seeds
1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
½ cup dried plums (about 14)
½ cup raisins
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips, coarsely chopped
¼ cup almond butter
½ cup rolled oats (1-minute type)
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 TBSP agave syrup or honey
6 scoops Herbalife24™ Rebuild Strength

1 TBSP Herbalife24™ Rebuild Strength
1 TBSP unsweetened dark cocoa powder

What to do

In a small bowl, combine flax and chia seeds with almond milk and let stand while you prepare remaining ingredients.

Chop dried plums coarsely (or pulse in the food processor, being careful not to over process – you want the fruit chopped, not blended). Transfer to a large bowl and add raisins, chocolate chips, almond butter, rolled oats, vanilla, agave, chia-flax seed mixture and 6 scoops Rebuild Strength. Mix with your hands until well mixed; the mixture should just hold together. If it seems dry, add water or almond milk a tablespoon at a time, being careful not to make the final mixture too soft. Dampen hands with water and roll mixture into 1” balls and set on waxed paper on a cookie sheet or tray.

In a small bowl, combine 1 TBSP Rebuild Strength and cocoa powder. Roll balls in this mixture to coat completely. Bites are ready to eat, but to store them, line a covered storage container with waxed paper. Place balls on waxed paper, cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Makes about 30 bites.
